California Highway Crash Caused by Medical Emergency — August 20, 2017

A driver had a medical emergency which caused him to speed down an off ramp and crash into a vacant lot in Antioch. A sedan collided with another vehicle on SR4 eastbound and then went flying down the ramp. The driver’s medical event made it impossible to control the car. It sped through an intersection, over a sidewalk, through a fence, and hit a utility box which stopped it.
