Crash in East El Paso Kills El Dorado Student, Jonathon Honorato, 17

An El Dorado student passed away after a fatal car accident in El Paso. October 2015 saw a dastardly accident of an El Dorado student. Jonathon Honorato, 17, lost control of his Honda Civic near 2:20 a.m. crashing into a tree and a light pole on George Dieter Dr. A large memorial service was held at the Socorro Independent School District. Both speed and alcohol are thought to be factors in this accident. California Highway Patrol reports that accidents are down in this area from this time last year, citing 41 this year and 46 dead by this time last year.
