Crash in Vallejo Police Pursuit Injures Two in Crockett — Mar 21, 2017

Two people were hurt in a police pursuit in Vallejo on westbound I80 in Crockett. Phillip Chambers, 25-years-old was arrested for felony evading arrest and hit and run felony. The chase started at the Union Avenue and Lemon Street intersection. Police ran the plates of a green Mercedes and found they did not match the car. The car sped on reaching speeds of 120 mph over the Carquinez Bridge. It went on to become involved in a hit and run with two other cars. Both lanes of traffic were briefly closed.
