Deadly Car/Train Crash in Dixon — July 7, 2017

One person died after a car and a train collided near Pitt School and Porter roads in Dixon Friday morning. The crash occurred at approximately 5 a.m. but circumstances leading up to the accident are unknown. Authorities have said the crossing arms were down when the crash occurred.
