Driver on the Run After I-5 Fatal Crash — August 6, 2017

A crash on I-5 killed an elderly citizen, south of Hood Franklin Road. It was 4:30 a.m. when a Mercedes-benz tried to pass a Volvo heading northbound. The vehicles crashed and the Volvo rolled across the highway before landing on its hood. The 65 year-old-driver was killed and two other passengers were injured. The driver of the Mercedes fled the scene and is still on the run. The police don't believe the car was stolen and it’s known to be registered to a Tinley Johnson, believed to be from the Valejo area.
