Fatal Nord Highway Crash Victims Identified — Oct 24, 2017

A fatal car accident was discovered Friday morning on Nord Highway with two dead. The victims have been identified. Monday, Butte County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as John Sanchez, 60, of Stockton, and Victor Moncada Jr., 28, of Channelview, Texas. The two bodies were discovered at approximately 7:30 a.m. by a passerby noticing the silver SUV which had crashed into Mud Creek in northwest Chico. One body was found inside the SUV, the other in the water outside.
