Hit-and-run Crash in Modesto Kills Female — August 24, 2017

Modesto police is searching for suspects involved in a hit-and-run collision that happened on Wednesday. The occupants of a Chevy SUV fled the scene after they ran a red light and crashed into a red Mustang, sending its driver to the hospital where she died from serious injuries. The Chevy SUV had been reported to the CHP as stolen before the accident, police say. Witnesses described the driver as hispanic or black in his 20’s, the same age of the two passengers, also described as hispanic, one male and one female.
