Humbolt County Crash Kills Redding Man — Jun 23, 2017

A Redding man, Jarrod Waddle, 35-years-old, died when he hit a tree with his car Saturday in Humbolt County. He was driving under the influence of alcohol. He lost control of his 2014 Dodge Journey SUV when he exited Highway 101 in Arcata on South G street at around 3:35 a.m. He hit a large tree and was unresponsive when emergency personnel arrived. He was pronounced dead later at the hospital.
