I5 Crash Blocks Traffic — August 11, 2017

A two-car crash in Sacramento caused moderate injury and blocked traffic all the way into the downtown area. Roads to Elk Grove are also severely congested. The crash occurred near the 43rd Avenue off-ramp at just before 6 a.m. One car was overturned. Drivers are asked to divert to Seamas Avenue and Highway 99 to avoid delays. No word yet on when roads will clear.
