Knights Landing Man Killed in Yolo County Crash — Oct 3, 2016

A man, identified by the coroner as 21-year-old Juan Bravo from Knights Landing, was killed on October 1, 2016, when a car drifted into his lane and hit him head-on on Old River Road just east of Woodland. The accident occurred when 21-year-old Tyler McLean of Woodland, drifted across the southbound lane of Old River Road just south of County Road 124 and collided with Bravo’s car at approximately 12:30 p.m. McLean’s car caught fire. A passing motorist helped both men from their cars but Bravo died on the scene. McLean was air-lifted to a local hospital with major injuries.
