Lake County Solo Crash Kills Clearlake Man — Oct 26, 2017

A Tuesday afternoon crash in Lake County killed a man, Lawrence Gene Kerr, 71, from Clearlake on Highway 53 when he veered off the road and hit a tree. He had been travelling in a 2009 Toyota northbound as he attempted to pass a 1994 Ford truck a few miles south of Anderson Marsh State Historic Park. It was just before 3:30 p.m. Drugs nor alcohol are thought to have been a factor.
