Lakeport Accident Kills One -- Nov 18, 2017

A man from Kelseyville was killed Tuesday morning when the car he was a passenger in crashed into a tree on Highway 29 near Highland Springs Road. He was identified as Joshua Williams Moore, 26-years-old of Kelseyville. Investigators have reported Moore had been traveling southbound toward Kelseyville in a 2002 GMC Yukon at approximately 6:30 a.m. For unknown reasons, as he passed the Highlands Spring Road intersection, he crossed the centerline into the northbound lane. At that moment, he flew off the road and rammed into a tree. Moore was not wearing a seatbelt and died on the scene. It has yet to be determined if drugs or alcohol played a part in the accident.
