Mariposa Man Injured in Accident Outside Arts Counsel — Mar 9, 2017

Mariposa man Richard Oswald was driving down Highway 49 South approaching the Highway 140 intersection when his brakes failed. He skidded into the parking lot of a nearby liquor store where he sideswiped a truck. It was then that he crossed over the Highway 140 overpass and crashed into a tree and fence at the Mariposa Arts Council. He received minor injuries and was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
