Martin and Bevins streets in Lakeport scene of Hit and Run of Two Bicyclists

Corey Bauman, 41, and Nicolas Thompson, 32, were injured when David Lent, 28 crashed into them on their bicycles on Martin and Bevins streets in Lakeport.  Fortunately, there were witnesses to the hit and run who were able to distinctly identify the car. The victims were air lifted to area hospitals, listed in serious and critical condition. Police traced it to the Lent home. Once there, they arrested both David Lent and his mother, Lynda Lent. David Lent was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and causing great bodily injury. His mother, Lynda Lent, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to the crime.
