MARYSVILLE — A woman was rushed to the hospital with major injuries Saturday night in Marysville after being hit by a fleeing car.

About 9:50 p.m. on June 13, Courtney Shank, 21, was walking within the crosswalk on North Beale Road, when a dark colored vehicle struck her.

The car, described by a witness as an older-model, dark-colored Toyota 4Runner SUV, fled the scene immediately.
