Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries in Walnut Creek Accident — Aug 28, 2017

A car and a motorcycle collided resulting in major injuries to the motorcyclist. The accident occurred at approximately 1:13 a.m. on Ygnacio Valley Road, west of Cowell Road. Two people in the car suffered minor injuries. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital. Ygnacio Valley Road was closed temporarily but reopened by 5:45 p.m. The cause of the accident has not yet been announced.
