Motorcyclist Trapped Under Car in Fresno Wreck — Apr 10, 2017
A Central Fresno accident on Monday resulted in a motorcyclist trapped under a vehicle. Officers on the scene revealed a motorcyclist hit a van at Palm and Ashlan Avenues at approximately 5 p.m. The biker was thrown from his 2016 Yamaha and skidded under a car. The van driver fled the scene. The biker was going east when the van approached from the west and attempted to make a turn onto southbound Palm on a yellow light. The motorcyclist was still going straight and the van hit him in the turn attempt. Witnesses reported the vans activities and some of the license plate numbers. The biker was extricated by witnesses and taken to a hospital with moderate injuries by ambulance.
