Newark Car Wrecks Into Apartment Building — Mar 31, 2017

Three people have been displaced and two apartments destroyed when a car shot into a Newark apartment building on the evening of March 31, 2017. No one was hurt, according to Alameda County Fire Department who answered the call. Three adult residents were displaced. The two apartments that housed them were destroyed. The accident happened just after 6 p.m. Firefighters removed the car and shored up the apartment walls. No further word has been given as to repairs on the building or where the residents will go.
