North Bay Accident Injures Four — Jan 1, 2017

Early on the morning of January 12th, Petaluma police received calls pertaining to a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of North McDowell Boulevard and East Washington Street. Many victims had to be extricated from their cars. Four were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The accident was caused by a driver whose gas pedal had stuck forcing the car to speed into traffic. The driver did not appear to be under the influence but his car was towed to the police department to determine if there was actually a problem with the gas pedal.
