One Injured in Highway 32 Crash — June 15, 2017

A three-car crash east of Chico Thursday tangled traffic and seriously injured one motorist on Highway 32. The incident occurred at approximately 4:35 p.m. near Humboldt Road. Authorities report a Subaru SUV travelling westbound slowed to make a turn when it was hit by a Saturn Sedan from behind. Afterward, the Saturn spun into oncoming traffic where it was hit by an eastbound Chevy Silverado. The male driver of the Saturn has not been identified. He was transported to an area hospital. No other injuries were reported. Drugs nor alcohol played a part.
