One Killed in Lemon Grove Crash — Oct 17, 2017

Cesar Duenas was standing on the side of the road at the transition from westbound State Route 94 to Lemon Grove Avenue. His vehicle had broken down and he stood there watching a tow truck driver load it onto his truck when another vehicle came along and hit the tow truck. A Lexus had come off the nearby exit and hit the tow truck as it loaded Duenas’s full-size Dodge pick-up which had a trailer attached. The trailer hit and killed Duenas. The tow truck driver received minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
