Sacramento Crash Kills San Jose Woman — Jan 17, 2017

Harshada Humbarwadi, a 25-year-old woman from San Jose was killed in Sacramento when she was thrown from a car on I5. The crash occurred on southbound I5 at approximately midnight near the Richards Boulevard off-ramp. It was caused when a passenger accidentally bumped the driver's arm and forced the car to the right. It flew off the road and flipped several times. Humbarwadi was thrown from the vehicle and three other people were injured. She died at the hospital a few hours after the crash.
