Same Spot on Merced Highway Seeing Repeated Accidents -- Nov 15, 207

A car crash on Tuesday night happened in the same area as a four-car crash Monday in Merced County. The reasons were similar in both crashes. An El Nido man, 30-years-old, driving a Chevy Cobalt north on Highway 59 close to Rahilly Road at around 4:15 when he came upon stalled traffic at 55 mph. He swerved to the right, landing upside-down in a ditch. Monday at approximately 10 a.m. a Merced man, 45-years-old, in a Dodge pick-up hit three cars that were stopped in front of him waiting for a car to turn. Neither car was able to stop n time to avoid an accident.
