San Francisco Cyclist Injured in Car Crash — May 2, 2017

Darrell Spurlock, 52-years-old, of Santa Rosa, was hit by a car while cycling and received life threatening injuries. He was found unconscious at the scene. It was approximately 12:20 p.m. close to the Santa Rosa and Colgan Avenues. Investigators determined he had bicycled out of the Santa Rosa Marketplace and merged with northbound traffic. A 25-year-old man in a gold Corolla hit him as he changed lanes.
