Semi Driver Dies After Veering Off Highway and Hitting Eucalyptus Trees — Jun 11, 2017

A man from Sanger, 41-years-old, was killed last Saturday when he crashed his Volvo big-rig veered off-road, south of Tulare, on Highway 99. He smashed into two eucalyptus trees before crashing through a barbed wire fence. He was driving a 2015 Volvo northbound on Highway 99 close to Avenue 120, at approximately 3:15 p.m. The victim died on the scene and has not been identified. It is still unclear if alcohol or drugs played a part in the accident.
