Skyway Crash Kills Paradise Man -- Dec 8, 2017

A 36-year-old man from Paradise was killed in a single-car crash Friday morning on Skyway near Paradise, according to the California Highway Patrol. Police said the man was headed eastbound on Skyway, west of Skyway Cross Road around 4:15 a.m.. He made an unsafe turn, and allowed his 2003 Mercedes-Benz to travel off the roadway. The man’s name was not released pending notification of family. The man was ejected from the car and taken to Enloe Medical Center in Chico, the California Highway Patrol said. He was pronounced dead at the medical center from injuries suffered in the accident. The California Highway Patrol suspects alcohol played a role in the crash.
