Speed a Factor in Fatal Hit and Run With Motorcycle — Oct 16, 2017
Just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, a 55-year-old motorcyclist from Delhi was struck south of Turlock, on Lander Avenue north of East Clausen Road by Edgardo Reynoso, 23, Turlock. He was driving a GMC at a high rate of speed, according to California Highway Patrol. Reynoso rear-ended the motorcycle. The rider was thrown into the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Reynoso fled the scene of the accident, leaving at least two other vehicles to dodge the victim laying in the road. Police later apprehended him and placed him under arrest. Reynoso suffered minor injury and faces charges of voluntary manslaughter and hit-and-run causing injury or death.
