Three Lanes Close After I-680 Multi-Car Crash — Oct 19, 2017

A Thursday morning crash involving several cars blocked all but one lane of Interstate Highway 680 northbound in Contra Costa County for over an hour.  Reports on the accident began to come in around 11:20 a.m. directing officers to the scene near Livorna Road. Seven vehicles were involved. No information about injuries has been released. The three left northbound lanes of the four-lane highway remained blocked until almost 1:00 p.m.
