Two Critically Injured in Sonoma DUI Wreck — Mar 10, 2017

A rollover crash on Highway 12 and Verano Avenue seriously injured two Sonoma residents Friday at 4:45 a.m. Police state a 17-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle on northbound Highway 12 at Verano Avenue. He hit a concrete sign and flipped over. He landed in the Vineyard Shopping Center parking lot. Twenty-one-year-old Jesus Molina Lopez, a passenger in the car, was ejected, receiving major injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment. The driver cannot be identified because he is a minor. He suffered major injuries. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and will face felony driving under the influence charges upon release.
