Two Teens Killed in El Dorado County Crash on Highway 49, November 3, 2015

Early morning on November 3rd, 2015, an 18-year-old girl was driving a Ford Focus northbound on highway 49 when she crossed the center lane close to China Hill Road. She smashed into a Toyota Corolla in the southbound lane. The impact sent her reeling back into the northbound lane where she hit a Honda Civic. The teen girl driving the Focus and her 18-year-old male passenger died at the scene. The accident is still under investigation.
