VACAVILLE, Calif. (KCRA) —A woman was killed Wednesday night after being hit by two vehicles while crossing a street in Vacaville, police said.
The deadly crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Alamo Drive.
The woman was walking across the street, but wasn't in the crosswalk when she was hit by the vehicles, according to Vacaville police.
"The vehicles did stop," said Mark Donaldson, of the Vacaville Police Department. "The drivers of the vehicles are cooperative. It does not appear that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision."
The designated speed limit on the roadway is 40 mph.
