Woman Hurt in Oroville Crash — Nov 18, 2016

A car crash south of Oroville injured a woman Friday at around 8:35 a.m. The crash occurred close to Las Plumas High School, on Lincoln Boulevard and Monte Vista Avenue. Christina Baca, 28-years-old, drove onto Monte Vista Avenue as she made a left turn. Joseph Solansky, 33-years-old, from Gridley, approached Monte Vista Avenue at approximately 40 to 50 miles per hour. For reasons unknown, Baca did not yield to Solansky and turn directly into his path. Passengers in Solansky’s vehicle suffered broken bones and other injuries. Baca received minor injuries. Significant damage was done to both vehicles.
