Woman Killed in Crash With Stockton Police- August 31, 2016

Police responding to a call at near N. Pershing Avenue and Rivara Road at approximately 8:15 a.m. when they hit a 1998 Toyota Tacoma that had pulled out in front of them. The driver of the Toyota was an 84-year old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. The officers, who had their siren and lights on at the time of crash, were treated and released from an area hospital. Investigations are still underway to find out why the woman pulled out in front of the speeding police cruiser.
